The look for so much less!!

I am obsessed with the 4th hour of the Today Show with Hoda and Kathie Lee, I watch it every day! Anyways all the viewers have been obsessed with Kathie Lee's nail polish. She started wearing "Khaki Rose" by Chanel and ever since they announced it on air they have been sold out!

Did I mention that this Chanel nail polish cost about $25 per bottle!!!

Moral of the Story.... My look for less came about after spending about 30 solid minutes in the nail section of Target trying to get a substitute for this very popular Chanel Nail Color. And I fount it!!!

This Color is Cover Girl Boundless Color #510 Mauveliciouls and cost only $3.50!!!
I just finished my manicure and I love it!!! This will be my fall/winter go to color!

Don't stop giving...

October came and went in a blink of an eye leaving behind a shadow of pink... Breast Cancer Awareness month is one of the most noticed and supported causes in the United States. Breast Cancer touches each and every one of our lives in some shape or form with over 2.8 million women in the US living with breast cancer today. As quick as October has come and gone, sadly so will the support and fundraising efforts for Breast Cancer Awareness until next fall rolls around.

As we transition into November I would like for everyone, as they continue to support breast cancer and other causes, to shine a light on Alzheimer's Disease. November is National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness month and with nearly 4 million men and women in the United States currently diagnosed we need to give notice.

Alzheimer's Disease is the most common from of dementia in older people. It is a medical condition that disrupts the way the brain functions and disrupts control of thought, and language. There is no cure for this disease nor a proven treatment to halt the progression, how ever some experimental drugs have shown promise. They are also making great medical strides in the early detection of this disease as well. We need to help in supporting the efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. Check out www.alz.org to learn more about the disease and how you can help your local chapter.

I am taking part in the Memory Walk and walking in support of my Grandmother on November 13th in Charlotte North Carolina. I have a small team with me and we are eager to make a difference. So don't forget to continue your volunteer and fundraising efforts for the cause that means so much to you!

Don't Stop Giving Thought...

How Divine....

Like many people I have developed a slight obsession with HGTV! Everything from "House Hunters", "Income Property", "Property Virgins", and "Sarah's House" will have me glued to the TV for hours! However my favorite by far is Ms. Candice Olson's "Divine Design." She helps people with design dilemmas turn their space into something elegant, modern, and simply beautiful. I am obsessed with her style, and design concepts. Here is some of her work... I hope it inspires you with your own design dilemmas!

Happy Design!
