Thirsty Thursday: Pretty in pink!

It's A Pink Thing!


The Ingredients:
* 2 oz Grey Goose Vodka
* 2 oz Pink Grapefruit Juice
* 3/4 oz spicy honey
* 3.4 oz fresh Lime Juice
* Splash of Peychards Bitters

The Directions:
Combine the vodka, grapefruit juice, spicy honey, & lime juice in a shaker. Shake it up & pour. Top it off with a splash of bitters... Enjoy!



Raspberry Flirtini


The Ingredients:
* 1 part VOX Raspberry Vodka
* 1/2 part Chambord
* 1 part Champagne (float)

The Directions:
Mix in shaker half-filled with ice, Raspberry Vodka and Chambord. Pour into a martini glass and top with Champagne. Garnish with fresh raspberries!

Sweet Pink Lemonade



The Ingredients:
* 2 oz Lemonade
* 1 oz X-Rated Fusion Liqueur
* 1 oz SKYY Vodka
* Mint or lemon for garnish

The Directions:
Mix lemonade, X-Rated Fusion Liqueur, and Vodka in large class over ice, stir and garnish.

A Prayer for My Dear Friend

Dear Lord, bless my friend who came from Thee, Save her from every harm, Rescue her form every evil and pain.



Guide always her path, And provide her with your Light, That she may not stray, And always find her way back home.




Protect her thoughts oh, Lord, That she may not be anxious, But have the assurance that comes from Your Grace.



Surround her heart with your strength, That she may live in love, And thereby live a meaningful life, Wherever she may be.



May she never forget our friendship, And find it a treasure that does not fade.



May she remember that there is a person she can lean on to, in times of need, In times when she may cry.



And even in those times when I can't be there, To hold her hand, May she always know she's not alone, For You are there, O Lord, The One who has given us this blessing of friendship, The One who will protect its joy forever more.

A Carolina Snow

"I love snow days, frosty nights, and warm hearts"



It's very rare that we are able to witness a snow fall in Charlotte. However, this morning we were not only lucky enough to see snow falling from the sky, but the entire city was covered in a blanket of snow. A snow day brings you back to your childhood when you would anticipate a day off from school and spending hours upon hours playing in the snow until your fingers and toes are numb. Enjoy this day of pure relaxation, no reason to leave the house, no reason to clean, just lay around in your pj's and be a kid again, thats how snow days are meant to be spent.
